Tianzishan Scenic Area is located in the Wulingyuan North, and the scenery of Zhangjiajie, Suoxiyu dependencies of the total area of 67 square kilometers. Tianzishan has elevation of 1262.5 meters (Kunlun peak) and the lowest 534 m. There is more than 40 kilometers of mountains tour line.

Tianzishan is named from the Tujia leaders of the Southern Song Dynasty King (Kun) who claims to be emperor. The many attractions in the region are also related to this, such as emperor Chau, sword peak the Throne rock.
